copy/paste
I find it hard
sometimes to paste a file into a folder that contains many subfolders,
especially when the view is set to details; I mostly end up pasting it inside
one of the subfolders
It was easy with XP,
we just had to right click anywhere but on the name of the file/folder and easily
paste in the desired folder
This is because the
whole line get selected even if you right click on size or type..etc, which
wasnt the case in XP where you had to click on the name to select the
file/folder
Anyone thinks the
same, please comment,
Thanks

I noticed this was a issue for me too. Well maybe not a "issue" but a annoyance. Yes i see how the whole line gets selected. This is actually true in Windows Vista as well. I kept Pasting into sub folders all the time.I guess i can see Microsoft's view on why they changed it when Vista came around. Probably to make it easier to select a folder (Not with copy/paste in mind).I think i'll use the send feedback on this one. But yes, i do keep miss pasting too, even though i use Windows vista on my main Desktop i still haven't gotten used to using the folder tree instead for getting around this.

As you said it is not an issue, but it can be annoying
sometimes
Sure we can use the left tree panel or as I do most of the
time, switch view to small icons and paste at the bottom end of the folder,
But it will be nice if we had the option to select the names
of files/folders only or to select the whole line
Thanks for your comments
