critical updates are all done but Belarc says some are missing
My PC is a plain basic stand alone - no disk partition, no network, nothing fancy. My settings have always been to receive Microsoft updates automatically, and it appears to be updating regularly. When I go to the site there are no critical updates to downlaod, and I have also dowloaded all optional updates for software and hardwar. So ther's nothing left for me to update. However when I run a Belarc it reports I have the following updates missing Q947320- Critical (details...) Q973444- Important (details...) Q973471- Important (details...) Q973702- Critical (details...) Q974556- Important (details...) Q975008- Important (details...) Q977896- Important (details...How can I tell if these updates have taken effect in my PC please?1 person needs an answerI do too

I would take Microsoft's Windows Update's word for it and leave Belarc alone. Programs like Belarc Advisor are most useful when you need to see what hardware is in a computer or get information about certain software programs installed. It isn't anything that needs to be run regularly.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
