dell laptop blue tooth problem in windows 7
hii have dell inspire 1525 and just installed windows 7 RC but i cannot get blue tooth icon in notification & control panel area even i can see that blue tooth light is not ON - is there any driver problem? in device manager, everything is installed and there is no warning/error etcneed help ASAP, its my office laptop and i want to install blue tooth devices on it.thanksMWVirk

It seems as if your Bluetooth hardware is switched off. If you have no hardware switch on your system this usually means you need some application from Dell to control the state of the Bluetooth adapter in your system.Ray

Just so you know, it is not wise to install Windows 7 RC on a production computer. You should only use it on a home PC or notebook that you can test on.

If you look at the Dell website. In the support section you can lookup the drivers for your laptop. There you can download the driver for the Dell Wireless 355 Bluetooth Module for Windows Vista. Usually when you install the driver it will power on your bluetooth module.Here is the direct link I found for this model.Ray
