driver for wi-fi doesn't work
I have installed system 7 on my laptop, hp pavilion. It has a built in wi-fi but the driver will not install with system 7. Driver is intel pro/wireless 2200 bg. I downloaded another one from intel, but that will not install either. Plug in cable direct from cable box and it doesn't work either.Any one had this problem.?ThanksGene

Have you tried to install it in compatibility mode? If not, right-click on the file > Properties > Compatibility Tab. Now choose to run the program in Windows Vista compatibility mode or right back to Win95, then Apply > OK. Right-click the file and select the Run As Administrator option to install it.

Thanks for your help. That seems to have solved the problem. Hard to find the right driver tho. Was able to get broadband to work, then some updates installed and one of them fixed the Wi Fi.RegardsGene
