elevated privileges without prompt for admin password
Hi, i have my application which i need to run at the startup. As an administrator i have installed the application in the program files.it works perfectly fine when i am an administrator. when i log in as a standard user i am able to launch the application disabling the UAC but it gives an error saying access violation while trying toread memory at location 0x000000. Do we have the functionality similar to setuid on unix , so that i can launch the program as a standard user but with the id of an administrator ? any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Sumaiya, if you want to run a program with Administrator privilege, you can right click on the program and choose "Run as Administrator". In order to do this, we still need to enter administrator password if youlog on as standarduser.
