error message on window mail account set up when sending mail
Before Windows Mail, Outlook gave me the same error message, Port 25, secured (ssl) no, socket error:10060
also error 0x800ccc06. I would like to use Windows mail because a lot if company web site's used this mail form and you don't
have to go to yahoo and enter all their web infro to send mail. I have loaded the right incoming server infro for AOL and the outgoing also.
I did go to Windows Live mail and had no problems.
I use imap.aol.com for incoming and smtp.aol.com for outgoing and enable port 25. I receive mail just find.

Do not use port 25. Possible secured ports are published on AOL support page:
SMTP Outgoing Server Address: smtp.aol.com (Use port
587 for standard or 465
for SSL connections)
