This just started coming up and I don't know why. I am on windows xp media edition and service pack 3.7 people need an answerI do too

Wolfie, thanks so much for your solution to this problem. Just spent over two hours trying to find a fix for this, trying many different things. It's so nice to be rid of this annoying popup. I know my problem was from not doing the Safely Remove Hardware in the Taskbar for an external hard drive I replaced. Even though I uninstalled it in Device Manager, etc., etc., the message kept coming back unless I disconnected the drive entirely. But as soon as I plugged it back in and rebooted, same thing.
