external HDD (esata or USB 3.0) no rights to copy data from Windows 7 HP 64 bit
Dears Sirs,
i have a new motherboard Intel DH67 with Intel Sandybrigde and Win7 HP 64 bit installed. When i try to copy some pictures from my internal hdd to external hdd (esata or USB 3.0), i get
the message i have no rights to copy this data. I have contacted Intel for the problem, but therefore say its a windows problem. Can anyone help me?
Best regards

Can you take ownership of:
C:\Users\%youruserdrive%
Replace inheritance but keep the old settings, give yourself full access.
That should replace those permissions

Hi,
Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet forums.
We need your help in clarifying the following questions:
1.
Can you copy data from the ext HDD to internal HDD?
2.
Does this issue only occur to some pictures or all data on the internal encounter the same issue?
If this happened only when copy from inter to ext, and all data involved, please take owner ship of the hard drive.
