I purchased a HP external Hard drive to back up my photos. I have vista. my security system is Nortons 360-4 My issue is my Presario PC does not recognize the connection. I have gone thru my control panel with no success. A users manual was not included with my unit, although the connection is simple. Nortons feedback tells me no files have since been backed up. The blue light flashes but I am unable to play back due to no PC recognition. The HP model is md 1000h. Windows help and support was not successful. The unit has been hooked up for over six hours with the blue light still flashing. I am praying someone can give some answers.
