never heard of a partiton, but i have 50G+ in unallocatted space. why have a partition and how to use that free space in C drive.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hidden files may be occupying more space than you would expect!Go to Start, Control Panel, Folder Options, View, AdvancedSettings and verify that the box before "Show hidden files andfolders" is checked and "Hide protected operating system files" is unchecked. You may need to scroll down to see the seconditem. You should also make certain that the box before "Hideextensions for known file types" is not checked.Notwithstanding there remain some files which remain hidden. Open DiskDefragmenter and click on Analyse. Select View Report and click on SaveAs and Save. Now find VolumeC.txt in your My Documents Folder and post acopy.
