hi, i recently brought a laptop of ebay last month. now the windows 7 enterprise is asking for a product key which i have not got, i have re armed it for the first time, which i don't want to do again.. im looking at buying a winows package ( windows 7 home ultimate ) to sort this, would i be able to install this ok on my laptop over enterprise? thanks in advance.

Did you look at the bottom of the laptop for a sticker with the Windows Product key? Also, if you got any product documentation, it might be there as well. Jerry

hi, the sticker on the bottom is for xp professional, so thw windows 7 has been freshly installed.simon
