help with windows memory shutdown and minidumps
Hello,
I am on my second HP Pavillion dm4-1160us due to numerous bluescreen (thinking that it was being caused by firefox). This second computer continued to have random blue screens so I took it to the store and the restored my computer and installed
google chrome and let it run for 24 hours with the browser open to different websites and kept Pandora running and everything was fine. I took it home and installed Skype and AIM, which the techs said were fine. Then the computer asked me if I wanted to stay
on Windows7 because it could switch to the HP desktop system (do not know if that is the correct word, but it was not windows 7, it was something dealing with HP). I said no I wanted to stay on the Windows7. I left my computer for awhile and came back to it
and it had switched to the HP desktop (?). I tried to get out clicking on "restart" the computer but then the screen went black and said press ctrl alt delete to restart. I did that a few times because it was not working, then the screen went black and restarted.
About two hours later when I was not at my computer it shut down and restarted. When I came back to my computer it said that there was a bluescreen that looked like this (however this one was from my other computer):

C:\Users\Krista\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-53945-0.sysdata.xml
Then a few
hours later it shut down again later in the night but did not say it was a blue screen. Then this morning the screen resolution changed and made the pages I was on bigger and then reset itself back to normal. After that the computer shut down and said it was
reconfiguring. Then upon it restarting this message came up:
Files
that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP
Can someone
please help me? I've had laptop for 8 years and have never had issues like this before. The techs at the store said they can't figure it out.

Bug Check 0xD1: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
This indicates that a kernel-mode driver attempted to access pageable memory at a process IRQL that was too high.

To see the cause I have to take a look at the dumps with the Debugging Tools for Windows.
Please start the Windows Explorer and go to the folder C:\Windows\Minidump. Next, copy the dmp files to your desktop, zip all dmp into 1 zip file and upload the zip file to your public Skydrive [1] folder and post a link here.
