how can i start internet connection when coming out of sleep
I keep my PC in sleep mode and i've decided that when i turn it on ( wake up) i want to start working without having to click to log on and to click to connect to the internet. I've disabled the log on screen but i can' convince windows to start my internet connection when it wakes up. I've tried dropping the conection in the startup folder but it didn't work. Ive tried the task scheduler ( basic task - start program - C:/...rasphone.exe - adjustment -d Internet ) using as a trigger egin on log on , on startup, actually i've tried every trigger just to see what happenes - it didn't work. The scheduler says that he task never started. So, how can i start internet connection when coming out of sleep? Thankyou

Hi, Your issue is caused by the Windows turn off the Network’s power supply to save power in the Sleep Mode. When you sleep / hibernate / Standby, and the power is turned off on the network adapter, you will lose your internet access. You may kindly refer to the following steps to have a try. 1. Click Start -> Search [Device Manager] enter. 2. Expand Network Adapters, and pick the enabled adapter. 3. Right click and Open the Properties for it. 4. Click on the Power Management Tab. 5. Uncheck the box for "allow the computer to turn off the device to save power". 6. Press Ok and you are done. Meantime, you may try to upgrade your BIOS.
