SIR, MY LAPTOP IS LENOVO G50-70 SERIES HAVING WINDOWS  8.1. PREVIOUSLY I USED TO TURN MY LAPTOP INTO HOTSPOT BY USING COMMAND PROMPT, BUT NOW AFTER STARTING COMMAND PROMPT,MY PHONE CANT CONNECT TO LAPTOP.I ALLOWED TO SHARE INTERNT CONNECTION BUT IT IS NOT CONNECTING.I ALSO USED MHOTSOT,MY PUBLIC WIFI,VIRTUAL ROUTER MANAGER BUT OF NO USE.KINDLY SHOW A SOLUTION TO ME

Hi harish,

Are you using "netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=Hotspotname key=password " to create the hotspot?

To troubleshoot whether the issue only occurred with the phone device, we could try to connect another device to the hotspost to have a check.

If the issue persists, we could try to reinstall the network driver and recreate the hotspot to have a check.
