iSCSI Initiator fails after Vista Upgrade - is there a fix?
After bringing a working base install of Vista Ulitmate up to date (upgrading from XP Home). The iSCSI initiator fails in discovery - Error with latest driver - iSCSI discovery via SendTargets failed with error code 0xefff0012 to target portal *192.168.15.250 0003260 Root\ISCSIPRT\0000_0 . If I back the driver down to the previous version the initiator works, although booting of iSCSI doesn't work. Old Driver: 6.0.6002.18005 (6/21/2006) I presume some legacy piece of configuration from the earlier driver is stopping the new driver working correctly (WWW search indicates a fresh install should work). Does anyone know a fix for this or have any idea how to flush out any old iSCSI config data? Note: The XP Home I started with boots OK over iSCSI. The boot starts OK over iSCSI with Vista but hangs/dies after a while.
