i have a dell computer thats not working, i would like to reset the factory settings can some one please help me.it is a inspiron 1545. thank you.
my granddaughter has a bluescreen on her computer, her and her mom having tried for more than 3 weeks cant repair it.youstart the computer you see the windows logo than a blue screen. we have tried f8-f2-f12 but every action we tried goes back to the blue screen. we tried windows debugger it starts to load than bingo blue screen. asking around we have heard about resetting the factory setting. but we dont know the code or how to do it in dos. may i thank you in advance for any help

You can't reset a computer to its default factory settings. You can reset a router, Wireless Access Point, a modem back to their out of the box default factory settings but not a computer, they have none. Your best bet is to take the computer to a reputable computer repair-shop, and have them fix the boot problem with the O/S.
