I added a folder to be indexed, but for some reason, many of the files do not show up in the start menu search. However, when I click "see more results", they show up. I have made sure that the index includes the file extensions (just standard .txt files). What is the difference between the two searches, and how do I get the files to show up on the startmenu search?

You may need to re-run the indexing after including the new additions. It takes a while. Click Start->Help and Support->search rebuild index for detailed steps.

Click search tag,click Restore Defualts.
