Good morning I have lost my internet or so it seems I am using windows7 home premium and have just completed a system restore costhe machine kept not responding, now i have an interent connection both wired and and wireless but when i try to loada page nothing happens, i have tried pinging www.bbc.co.uk and i get all packets back in 40ms so its not the connection, can anyone help ??

Hi, Does the issue occur on certain web page or each web page? Does it occur when accessing Internet via wired cable, Wireless network or both? To troubleshoot the issue, please perform the following steps. 1. Bypass the router (if there is) and connect to DSL Modem directly via wired cable to check whether everything is working fine. If so, please upgrade the router’s firmware. Otherwise, please move on the next step. 2. Temporarily turn off firewall and perform a Clean Boot to check the result. 3. Reset Internet Explorer 8 settings. 4. Restart the machine in Safe Mode with networking and access Internet again. Thanks, Novak
