internet slow

I not sure what happened but i was getting 30 mb down load wired, changed to wireless connection and my speed dropped to less that 3mb. I change back wired and have the same thing about 3 mb's. I have checked with my internet carrier which is Charter and they reported no problems. Help

Hi, Firstly, please let us know the following: 1. What is your wireless device model? 2. What is your machine model? 3. How do you change back to wired connection. Also, please make sure that you have disconnected the wireless connection after you change to wired connection. Meanwhile, if the issue did not occur previously, please perform a system restore and see how it works. However, if system restore cannot help, based on my research, please try the following: 1. Update both your wired NIC card driver and your wireless NIC card driver to the latest and see how it works. 2. Boot into Safe Mode with Networking and test the issue again. Hope this helps.
