java/firefox
I can't seem to get Java installed and working with firefox. It appears to download and install properly (no error messages), but next time i run FF it doesn't inform me that a new plug-in is present (as I'm used to in XP), and Jigzone (my Java tester of choice) puzzles don't work. They do work in IE. Any ideas what is going on here? TIA - JR

Check your tools/options and make sure java is allowed, maybe your AV/Antispy program also.I have no issue with Java in Firefox, but some issues in IEx64 which runs very slowly and attempts to install Java on every new opening. This could be a config issue or even a Java issue.

Ok, this one I had a problem with and I went and fixed it... 1) Uninstall Firefox - especially if it was present before Upgrade to Windows 72) Reinstall Firefox - Make sure the place and settings are same3) Rerun the Java & Flash InstallFor some reason the firefox was not being recognized as being installed if it was present when you upgraded your Windows with it in installed before, after I uninstalled FF and redid it and the Java + Flash it ran just fine... Hope that helps you!Let me know if that solves your problem!
