Have installed windows 2000 professional,wireless card,connecting but error occurrs after reading mail and have to reopen ie. Want to stay on line and also replace downloaded ie 6 vs current ie5

Well, you can download IE6 from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=1e1550cb-5e5d-48f5-b02b-20b602228de6&DisplayLang=en But I would encourage you to try and upgrade at some point. Windows 2000 and IE6 are dead products - i.e. not really any further support or patches for them.
