hi ,

I'm using custom display theme for my windows 7, issue is, now when someone sends me message on lync i dont get blinking notification on the taskbar. When someone messages me first time i get notification on right bottom side in big square, however subsequent messages from the same person and not getting notified to me by blinking window. Can anyone help? i like this theme which looks like classic XP and want to stick with it. Except this one issue everything works fine.

Have you tried to go back to the default Windows theme and tested again?

with the default scheme it works, however i do not want to switch to default scheme. i want to keep this custom scheme. Anyone knows if i can replace any .dll or something to make it working?

Can you please check the display settings in Control Panel whether the custom theme changed the size of the icons or the size of the display?

Lync client is designed to work with default text size which is 100 % (smaller)

Please try going into the Display options in Control Panel, select Set Custom Text Size (DPI) and tick the box that says Use Windows XP style DPI Scaling
