machine will not go to standby print spooler always using 50% of resorces
when looking at the system resorces used in task manager print spooler is always using 50% plus. cancel operation and system will standby

Try the below methods:Method 1:Install the latest service pack, you may refer the below link: How to obtain the latest Windows XP service pack:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322389 Method 2:Follow the below steps:a. Click Start and type services.msc in the search boxb. Search for the Printer Spooler servicec. Right click on the service Stop the serviced. Navigate to the location: C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERSe. Delete all the files under this locationf. Restart the computerg.
