may have a keylogger cant get pc to start up cause keyboard wont work, i have to hit f2 for start up to continue
im just wondering how to go about fixing this cause you cant even run windows disk to repair missing driver if thats the problem because i cant use my keyboard to get startup to continue. i have had a cpu fan error (even though the fan works) for a couple of years so i am used to just hitting f2 to get startuup to continue but now i cant because its not recognizing a keyboard. i was talk to some people over the internet and they say it sounds like a possible key logger. so if i cant get to the desktop how am i going to be able to run a scan to remove the thing. any help would be greatly appreciated.1 person needs an answerI do too

is it possible for me to to routhe a laptop and run a virus scan on the pc from the laptop?Did you tried another Keyboard, you may have bad keyboard or check the connection! It may be hardware issue more than keyloggers issue, but try this live CD and see what you can find.Download the CD burner and unzip it then download the Iso image and then run the burner to burn the image to a CD and Boot with it.http://software.lsoft.net/Iso-burner.ziphttp://www.techmixer.com/bitdefender-rescue-cd-with-auto-update-virus-definition-features/BitDefender 2009 Rescue Diskhttp://download.bitdefender.com/rescue_cd/Dr.Web® LiveCDhttp://www.freedrweb.com/livecd/?lng=enLet us know your findings.nass -- http://www.nasstec.co.uk

Try another keyboard (assuming that the problem computer is not a laptop). B. I don't know what you mean by "routhe a laptop," but if all elsefails you can remove the hard drive from the problem computer (either laptop or desktop), put it into an external USB enclosure, attach that to a working computer with up-to-date anti-virus and anti-malware software, and scan the disk. You can also run disk diagnostic software if that seems to be an issue (download from disk mfr's website). -- Lem
