I use Windows XP and have had no problems with my printer up until yesterday when it would no longer automatically print, but instead was saving the items to my default documents. Now I'm being told that there is "a component of the application (image writer) is missing. Please install the application." I have no idea what it's talking about. I need help to fix this please!!1 person needs an answerI do too

I need help to fix this please!!First go to:Start | Control Panel > PrintersIf your printer is correctly installed, it should be listed in the applet. Check to make sure that is set as the 'default' device. You'll see a checkmark if it is. If you don't see the checkmark next to it, right-click on the printer and choose "Set as the default printer" from the context menu. However, if it is not listed as one of the printer devices as above, then you'll need to install the driver. You can go on the manufacturer's website and download the appropriate driver.
