I ran the command in an adminisytrative command prompt but received the error :

The module "Kernelbase.dll " was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found. Make sure that "Kernelbase.dll " is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again."

if you are upgraded your OS from windows 7 or Windows 8. I suggest just run windows update and check

if you are not upgraded your OS try (SFC) & DISM as ZigZag3143x , or simply do system restore (using restore point before this issue happen) and if still not working, in place upgrade will be another option

Yes, this is an upgrade from Windows 7. I've run the Windows update (instead of SCCM software updates) and the KB3000850 (November 2014 update rollup for Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2 ) was missing from my computer.

This update installs an updated version of kernelbase DLL (6.3.9600.17415).I'll will wait a couple of days to check if it helps

Hello,

The problem is now solved.

I did two things. I installed the update and reinstalled the hyper-v console.
