multiple network adapter binding
Is it possible to bind 2 physical NICs into one virtual or load balanced NIC? I have a wireless NIC and a physical NIC (that's connected through HomePlug A/V) and I wanted to see if I could combine the bandwidth of both connections into one connection with higher bandwidth. Anyway, not sure if this is even possible as it would probably require a driver level piece of software, but I didn't know if anyone had done this before.

If you would like to combine bandwidth of both connections, you need to bridge both NICs.

I don't think bridging will work for this. You need something called NIC teaming. You need two identical NICS designed for this and a special driver.Kerry Brown

Thanks - I'll try and see. I'm ok with the one Home Plug AV connection, but that's a shame if it doesn't work.
