ihave a hp pavilion dv9000. I never have a problem with my wireless, I cant connect to my wireless. The HP Wireless assistant don't work. I download from HP care center, but doesn't work. If I connect DSL cable it work. Please help me???1 person needs an answerI do too

Make sure the wireless is switched on.

Its automatic in on. It was working correctly but since it gave an update from windows vista, the HP wireless assistant has dissapeared. And the broadcom network 802.11 WLAN update still keeps failing.

You may try to reinstall HP wireless assistance and broadcom wireless adapter driver. go to www.hp.com and type in the product number. The product number is 7 character and is written under ur laptop. something like AB1234P.
