Networg and Sharing Center > Advanced Sharing settings > on Homegroup You must turn on: - network discovery - file and printer sharing - sharing so anyone with network access can read and write files in Public folders (and not only) Optional you can turn on 128-bit encryption and password protected sharing, but if you trust your network buddies you can just Enable file sharing for devices that use 40- or 56 bit encryption and Turn off password protected sharing. It's best to have on Allow windows to manage homegroup connections. Same settings applies for Public. Hope this helps you.

You have to make your computer part of a Homegroup. You can try the old style method: My Computer > (right click) Properties > Advanced System Settings > on "Computer name" tab you can go to Network ID and select "This is a home computer..." and before you restart your computer, click on "Change" button to see if your computer is part of Workgroup. If not, check the option and write Workgroup in the blank space. ------------------------------------------------- | SavySB - Running Windows 7 RC1 32-bit | | AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5000+ (2.70 GHz) | | 4 GB DDRII, onboard GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 | -------------------------------------------------
