Hi golaboy, - What’s the recent change that you made to your computer between the timings when things were working fine and now?- Do you get any error message or error code while the screen goes blank? Video adapter problems are the most common cause of this issue (black screen). First, try to find out if there's a problem with the cables you're using or the way they're connected. If you have an alternate way of connecting your monitor to your PC, try it. For example, if your monitor is connected using an HDMI connector, try disconnecting it and then connecting with a DVI or VGA connector instead.Method 1: Update your Video adapter drivers to the latest by visiting the manufacturer’s site to fix this issue. Refer the link below for more information about driver update. How to manage devices in Windows XPMethod 2: Once you update the Video adapter driver, install the latest version of Flash Player for your browser. You may download and install the latest version of Flash Player by visiting the following link:http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/Note: This response contains a reference to a third party World Wide Web site.
