need a lil more
I dont know howeveryone else feels but I think we need more new
features especially in the interface department. I dont think being
exactly like apple is a good idea but having those features as an
option would be great to have. Apple makes there computers
interfacesfun to look at the andevery little feature they add is
something thats fun new nd excotong making you want to use their
computer more from getting more enjoyment from the way it works. Moving
around the windows 7 interface isnt much different from vista except
that you can dock the things on the desktop with no side bar. I think
something totally new and different should be done like maybe taking
away the taskbar and adding it in a different way or competely changing
the user interface we are used to. Basically for them to just get away
with it they need to let us be able to customize the interface any way
we want to it look like. Take all apples ideas and then add hundreds
more. Being what they are and more would be great since they are making
it refreshing for an interface. More customization on the interface
would be great is there any way we can see any of this on the final
windows 7.

To be fair, Microsoft have explored hundreds of weird, whacky and wonderful user interface ideas over the years. Thankfully most have been abandoned, when it was clear that only a very few of them actually improve ease of use and the user's productivity.Personally I'm quite a fan of the subtle, sophisticated and understated UI of Windows 7. It is straightforward to use and nicely "quiet".After all, it's only an operating system. It's the applications that get the work done.

Jeff here with the Windows Outreach Team. Thanks Joey for your feedback. I think you have brought up some great points that MS should hear about. My suggestion to you is to post this at:http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/w7itprogeneral/thread/54b430c4-e9dd-4035-8715-1a970e17fe07Cheers,JeffWindows Outreach Team
