And the bootup occured again instead of reformat it, i want to try find out want restore did in past that manage to resolve the bootup problem, apart knowing very summary it undo some driver update. now i want to know what driver/undo it performed. anyone know where can i get this detail?

1. There should be a trace in Event log(s). Inspect Device manager if the list is clean. 2. Press F8 when booting and select logging boot processes and analyze logs. 3. What type of installation is in your notebook, preinstall from hardware vendor or vanilla plain from standard installation DVD? 4. Does this phenomenon appeared in Safe boot? Regards Milos

1. There should be a trace in Event log(s). Inspect Device manager if the list is clean. No, I can't find any info/hints in Event Log. Suppose to be a log in System Event Log by source of System Restore. But nothing there. 2. Press F8 when booting and select logging boot processes and analyze logs. I believe this is when I'm still facing the problem. But I already performed system restore. What I need now is the system is restored, does Windows saved the last restore log file somewhere? 3. What type of installation is in your notebook, preinstall from hardware vendor or vanilla plain from standard installation DVD? I intend to analyze the system restore post-operation log, how this will help? 4. Does this phenomenon appeared in Safe boot? About to able to boot up into windows? Yes, even safe mode also will never able to boot into windows. Last time the screen show it restart when one of the AVG sys file shown, after replaced with another anti virus, this time it restart at CLASSPNP.SYS I don't think this is really helpful/accurate as hinting the cause.

The System Restore is Windows feature, after it performed the task, I'm expecting it should saved a log about what it had done, like what drivers been rollback. Assuming this is how it should work, I'm seeking the log file it produced. I really don't see who build/install the machine will matter.

Hi, Please understand that there is no log file about System Restore. You can refer to What is System Restore? for more information. Thank you for your understanding. Regards Vincent Wang TechNet Community Support
