Hi everyone, I have a really weird problem: i have 8 computers in a wired& wireless, 2 xp 6 win 7, all work good except 2 win7 pc's. Using network typ: work workgroup: WORKGROUP on all pc's Advanced options: all turned on, except password protected sharing the problem with these pc's is they are able to browse files on all other pc's but not on each other. all other pc's can also browse their files.... if I try to connect from problempc1 to problempc2 it gives a password/username prompt and viseversa also the names of these two are sometimes duplicate in the network map I really hope anyone can help??

solved. in gpedit.msc changed Network acces: Sharing and security model for local accounts --> to guest only a bit confusing because on all other pc's this wasn't necessary. please close this thread
