beach.hog,You would create the folder where you wanted it stored on this computer and right-click drag and drop it into the briefcase, choosing make sync copy. Then you right-click on the briefcase and choose where you want to send it to. In this example I will use a Flash drive to hold my briefcase copy.On my desktop, I right-click and choose 'New', then 'Briefcase'. Next to it I create a new folder. I copied a document into the folder and right-click dragged into the briefcase, choosing 'make sync copy' and it adds my folder (and document) into the briefcase. Then I right-click on the briefcase and choose 'Send to' and select my Flash drive from the list. Now anytime I change, add, or delete a document that is involved in the briefcase, I can just right-click on the briefcase and choose 'Update all' while I have my Flash drive plugged in. This opens another window that shows me the changes being made, and I just click 'Update'and it will do the appropriate copying. This works in the other direction also, just as it should. This is similar to a Library, where I tell the library what folders to include in the library for ease of finding things that might not all be in the same folder.Hope that helps.
