Fallowing clean up & drying out processes from a soda spill my onboard mouse in my HP Pavilion G Series has stopped working. Device manager says working properly butobviously not. HELP.

Replace the keyboard with a new one. it appears the keyboard's underlying sensitive membrane is now damaged due to the spill.Carey Frisch

there may e 2 layers of plastic making up the recievers for the keyboard i you clean and dry inbetween them it should work also check any contacts for teh mouse and keyboard going to the mother board and make sure there is no stickey residue or left over sugar mixed with dust that may cause an short.
