When I tried to Restart my Machine using Windows +x , or Alt +F4 . in both way it shows only "Update and Restart" instead of "Restart"

I have set my windows to update automatically .I haven't installed any update , I checked the windows update it shows " windows is up to date, no updates available", I am facing this issue for 1 week , I tried the Microsoft fix tool and other method suggested in MS forums. but no use and I am facing another issue no update are installing now "Error 643"

I am able to restart my machine only using CMD "shutdown \r" .

windows not updating and power option has no option of "Restart" only "Update and Restart"

pls provide me a solution

It will continue to do that until the downloaded update has been installed.  Have you checked the windows update control panel to see if there was an update downloaded on that date and if it was successful?
