problem extracting file from a zipped folder
problem when extracting a log file from a zipped folder, I choose a log file out of 1175 log files then drag to desktop when I examine the file it has the correct name but the contents and size of the file arent correct it turns out to be the first file in the zip folder, but when i try the same thing with a 3rd party application it works fine. is this a possible bug in windows 7. I have tried this on other windows 7 pro sp1 computers with the same problem.

Hi the only way I could resolve it was to use a 3rd party unzip program like winrar. windows 7 didnt like it but the file was created by a 3rd party program so it may be the reason. thanks for all your responces. its a shame I cant post the file for testing. but it is over 11gig.Andy Bird
