i will like if any body can help because my hp pavillion dv5 250gb, 3gb is using vista whila my pc is using xp and have a crosslink cable which for my forma xp now the problem now is that i have try to connect the xp and vista together but they are not seen each other. the xp is seen the vista but it can not access the the share folder and the network. if there is any body that can help i will be glad thx.

If you have a firewall program installedon either computer, be sure it is properly configured for the local area network. In Windows Vista, open the Network Sharing Center through Control Panel, and make sure File Sharing isturned on.
