hi, usually there is a registry setting which stores the data. try looking online for vista registry mods.

Alok,I did a quick format/clean install. Everything works pretty good. First install- with the problem-was upgrade over Vista Home Basic. (Compaq Presario CQ60-211DX Laptop)Thanks for your reply,Steve
