Hello litelady,It looks like your TrendMicro showed you some message window or a finding in the scan report. Would you please try to find it and copy back here what it said. For your benefit, I would very much recommend that you checkout and post your issues to ComputerHaven forum. I am sure you will find it a good fit. Here is the link to that forum http://computerhaven.info/forum/ the Security sub-forum is located here http://computerhaven.info/forum/tt.aspx?forumid=18Maurice N ~ MVP

I have run across two windows XP systems that have a vunerable version of vbe6.dll in c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VBA\VBA6 but that are not being offered the update for MS10-031 when running windows update. In both cases, Microsoft Office 2003 had previously been installed on the system and then uninstalled prior to the release of this update. It looks like VBA6 doesn't get uninstalled when Office is installed and that the update is not being offered because Office is no longer installed.

In cases where the update for MS10-031 is needed but not offered when checking for updates with windows update, you can download the update fromhttp://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=436a8a66-352e-44d1-a610-c825083ad24a&displaylang=enand then install the update by executing the download file.

You will have two types of update one is custom and another is complete .Try to run custom update and see if it will appear there or not.Thank you for providing the direct link .
