You definately need more RAM in order to have a decent experience and I would recommend Xp Home Edition since it uses less resources to operate. Regards, JoelFree computer support and diagnostics -->> http://repairbotsonline.forumotion.com/

You need at least 512MB of RAM for Windows XP to run happily. -- Noel Paton CrashFixPC Nil Carborundum Illegitemi www.crashfixpc.co.uk

hello take a look at the requirements for win xp http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314865 Please click the Check Mark As Answered On This Page If this post helps to resolve your issue as it helps others who need quick access to Answers THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK Have you actually ever tried to run either version of xp with the minimum requirements stated on the link you provided? I have... works if that's what you want to call it.. Not a pleasant experience though. Noel is correct in my opinion. 512 at a minumum for Home Ed and I would add that 1gb is necessary for Pro. Will it operate on less? Sure it will! But, it's slow motion all the way...
