How to I set my computer to remember this info once I have set it and told XP to remember it?Can you explain further on what you want to achieve in details for us to help you! If you want to make Windows Reboot/Start from hibernation/ Standby and log into the Desktop without asking for password then this can be achieved. But if you want windows to Restart from Cold State without prompting you for the password which I assume you want to set up then this impossible and useless to set up a password for loging while you want windows log auto into the desktop.Any way let us know what you want to achieve so we can put you in the right direction. nass -- http://www.nasstec.co.uk

When I visit a web site and enter UN and PW info, it then asks if I want IE to remember that. When I say yes and then later shut down the PC and then return later, none of the previously entered UNs or PWs are remembered. I'm sure there's a place somewhere (properties?) where it asks if I want it to remember this upon shutdown but I cannot seem to find it and re-set it to yes.Can someone help me fix this please?thanks,ER

HelloGo to Tools in Internet Explorer. Internet Options->Content Tab. Click on Settings for Auto Complete Section. There at very bottom check the box under Use Auto Complete for "User names and passwords on the forms" & "Ask me before saving passwords".If they are already checked Uncheck them first click ok. And now reopen it and check both the options "User names and passwords on the forms" & "Ask me before saving passwords".This should help.thanksDineshRegards Dinesh
