removed mcaffee, computer now buggy
Mcafee was constantly telling me that my computer wasn't secure. It was very annoying. I have other software installed to deal with viruses, mal-ware, and such. I then accidentally blocked Firefox and couldn't unblock it, so I decided to just uninstall Mcafee. Now my computer is telling me that unauthorized changes have been made and just today when I booted up, it tried to do some sort of Windows authorization process and wouldn't let me do anything apart from filling out a bunch of information that I don't feel comfortable giving to random programs popping up on my screen, so I re-booted and things where back to normal. Plus the fact that I purchased my computer brand new from Futureshop, who I doubt would be including illegal copies of Windows. I've come across viruses(mal-ware?) in the past that do similar things. Is this legitimate? Should I answer the questions if it happens again? Is there something I can do to prevent it from occurring again?

Hi, From the description, it sounds more like a malware. Please stop offering sensitive information. Meanwhile, it is not suggested to install multiple security software at the same time. This will cause un-expected conflict and issues.
