scanning USB drive for inactive rootkits
I have a boot problem with xp install on 2,5" laptop hdd, which I could mount using usb converter.I suspect it is due to rootkit presence. But when I try to use online scanners or rootkit revealers, they do not scanusb units. And I'd like to know any idea to achieve this goal. Only resident antivirus I believe could do that.Maybe it would help to find a way to mount usb unit as a drive with its letter, if feasible. Or even better as afolder.Or any other way. Maybe working from command line so I can select the drive I want. Thanks for sharing, ricardo 1 person needs an answerI do too

If you run full system scan with:http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htmIt probably would scan your USB driver when it is inserted .
