second hard drive
I am in the process of building a new PC. I have got a Solid State (40gb) to store the OS on. Will i be able to save programs on the second hard drive? or will they all need to be on the solid state? Thanks for any advice :D... Sam

Hi, you must not store your programs on system drive. It is not problem;) You can also make on your second HDD folder Program Files for your better feeling. You must only manual set install location for every program.
Free Windows Admin Tool Kit Click here and download it now

Every program nowadays gives you the option of where to install to....watch for it and point it to your other drive. Some programs automatically save your work to the C drive but you can change that usually in the program settings. Also changeable is Internet Explorer Cache as well as the repository of your Email...from within the program itself. The MyDocuments folder can also be moved to the other HD. peter -- If you find a posting or message from me offensive, inappropriate or disruptive, please ignore it.
