security downloads
in recent weeks seem to be getting a lot more downloads from microsoft? a lot of the security downloads saying Failed,? why is yhis, thank you, patsy M/s

Hi,
You may refer to the following article to narrow down the issue:
Troubleshoot
problems with installing updates
Also try to temporarily disable the third party security programs and boot in
Clean Boot
to perform update.
If above suggestions not help, assist me in collecting the following information in order to provide more effective troubleshooting steps.
How to collect the WindowsUpdate.log file
===========================
1. Click "Start", type "WindowsUpdate.log" (without the quotes) in the Search Bar and Press Enter. We will see a file named "WindowsUpdate.log"
2. Now click "File" and then click "Save As".
3. From the left panel, click "Desktop" and click "Save".
