server execution failed and Network List Service won't start
Some think that User Account Control might have something to do with the problem. They may be right because I had disabled it before reinstalling. Go into the control panel/ user accounts and ensure that you disable User Account Control, then download and reinstall AOL from their website over your existing version. I did notuninstall the original one. Also, I just got a slew of Microsoft Updates, you might want to try that as well- maybe MSFT found and fixed these problems. Go to "Computer Management" and check for any automatic services that aren't starting- especially "Network List". Try to start them and see if you are successful.
