I,m seeing "software distribution 3.0" everyday in my system restore. And my computer is running sluggish. Anybody else having these issues? Is there is any fix?? Im running XP 32bit. hp pavillion

Hi, Software Distribution Service isn't actually a separate product or component on your computer. It's just the name that Windows Update puts on the restore points it creates. So it’s normal. Whenever new updates get installed, new restore points will be created with the name software distribution. For the issue with performance, try to do a clean boot and check.
