spam emails.
For the past several weeks there have been emails sent from my email address to persons in my contact list that I have not sent. This is a personal computer but I work from home. I had my business contact call me and stated that when they opened up the link that there was a virus attached. Whenever I get an undelieverable message I sent it to my phishing file, I tried to install a virus protection but it would not install showing corrupted. What can I do?1 person needs an answerI do too

If you haven't already done so, change the password on your email account. If it's any comfort, the same thing has happened to lots of people: spam sent to their contacts, apparently from their accounts. If you'd like help with installing an antivirus program, I recommend posting a message, with full details, in the Windows XP Security, privacy, and User Accounts forum.Boulder Computer Maven Microsoft Most Valuable Professional
