Sometimes malicious software will hide under a svchost process so you will not be able to see it in Task Manager. The malicious software is trying to keep you from finding it and removing it. All you might see is one of your svchost Processes running wild. You should reduce the possibility of malicious software first, then if you still have a problem start troubleshooting.Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:Malwarebytes (MBAM): http://www.malwarebytes.org/SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/They can be uninstalled later if desired. When the scans run clean, reboot and then troubleshoot any remaining issues. Here is a nice tutorial that will help you figure it out what is going on behind the svchost Processes you see in Task Manager.http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial129.htmlDon't guess what the problem might be - figure it out and fix it.
